The Phetchaburi Sealife Tour will take you to the Floating Fishermans' Village and Cockle Farms, where you will see the morning sun providing a stunning backlight to the village. Experience how the local fishermen live on the sea as you tour the area in a long boat.

Stop At: Laem Phak Bia Environmental Research and Development Project, Laem Phak Bia, Ban Laem 76100 Thailand

After breakfast you will be taken to the Laem Phak Bia Royal Project that was set up to teach the ecological treatment of water. This Project has a walkway through the mangrove forest which is home to many species of birds, fish and reptile.

Stop At: Puek Tian Beach, Tha Yang Thailand

Puek Tian beach is a popular photographic spot with many sculptures from characters created by Thailand’s most famous poet, Sunthorn Phoo, rising from the sea.

The poem, Phra Aphai Mani, depicts an Ogress who disguised herself as a beautiful temptress to win the love of the hero and imprison him on the beach. But he discovers her true identity (and ugliness) and with the help of a mermaid, he escapes. This is a wonderful location for photographs.

Stop At: King Naresuan Monument, Cha-am, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi, Thailand

King Naresuan’s Monument, Cha’am was erected in recognition of the King who did great things for the Thai people by freeing Siam from Burmese rule, protecting the kingdom and taking good care of his citizens. In 1998 the monument was erected to commemorate him. It is visited by both locals and tourists coming to pay their homage to him.

The monument is free to enter. It features numerous effigies of chickens and it will provide you with some great photo opportunities – after all, who doesn’t want to be photographed with a 2m high chicken!!
